| The Golden Oasis series points to and celebrates Life (Big Life, with a capital "L") made manifest in common natural forms. In a natural oasis near home, close up, thin depth of field photographs transform sun lit palm frond fibers into luminous channels of transparent golden light. Amazingly luminous because of how they're made. The photographs are inkjet printed over gold metallic gesso on canvas, glazed with the finest quality varnish and floater framed. Light penetrates the image, strikes the gold metallic acrylic underneath and beams back … illuminating the artwork from within.
